Yes — and you don't have to work it out on your own. The builder guides you through the choices, and every order is checked by a human before a single part is ordered.

If something you've chosen wouldn't fit the case, wouldn't be cooled properly, or would be held back by another part, we'll get in touch and suggest the sensible alternative before we build anything.

Mostly the things you can't see on the product photo. Cheap prebuilts tend to save money on the parts nobody lists — the power supply, the case airflow, the cooler and the memory.

We don't cut corners on those. Every Wattec machine is built by hand by a small team of gamers and PC enthusiasts, with the BIOS and drivers updated, fan curves tuned so it isn't loud for no reason, and cable management done properly so it runs cooler and is easy to upgrade later.

Every build is its own machine with its own identity — we build it the way we'd build our own.

It depends which one you've ordered.

• Pre-built systems are dispatched in 1–2 working days — they're already assembled, so we only need to test them and pack them properly.
• Custom builds are dispatched in 3–5 working days — that's the time it takes to assemble, cable, stress-test and tune your exact specification.

Delivery sits on top of that and is normally next working day once your PC leaves us. If a build is going to take longer than quoted for any reason, we'll tell you rather than leave you guessing.

Your PC is packed for the journey, not just boxed up. Heavier components are supported inside the case so nothing works loose in transit, and the machine is double-boxed with the accessories, spare cables and any parts we've removed for shipping.

Delivery is tracked and insured, and we send you the tracking details as soon as it leaves us.

Once a build is underway some parts may already be fitted, but we'll always tell you honestly what can and can't be changed at that point.

They're stripped down, cleaned, re-pasted and stress-tested exactly the same way a new build is before they leave us. The shorter warranty reflects the age of the components, not the care that goes into them.

Message us first — most problems turn out to be something we can talk you through in a few minutes, and you keep your PC.

If a part genuinely has failed, we'll arrange to get it repaired or replaced under your warranty. You deal with us directly throughout; you won't be sent off to chase a component manufacturer yourself.

Yes. Our team provides lifetime technical support on the machines we build — from first setup and troubleshooting through to planning your next upgrade.

Gamers, creators and professionals all get the same answer from us: whatever it takes to keep your PC performing the way it did on day one.

Fitting a standard upgrade yourself — more memory, another drive, a new graphics card — doesn't void your warranty on the rest of the system.

What isn't covered is accidental damage caused while fitting it. If you'd rather not risk it, talk to us first: we're glad to walk you through it, or do the upgrade for you.

Yes — and it's designed that way from the start. We build with upgrade-friendly components and leave headroom in the power supply and the case, so swapping in a newer graphics card or more storage later is straightforward rather than a rebuild.

Yes, we're happy to look at it. Send us a message with the make and model, or a photo of the inside of the case, and tell us what you're hoping to improve.

We'll tell you honestly whether an upgrade is worth doing or whether your money would go further towards a new build — even when the answer isn't the one that sells us a PC.

Nine times out of ten it's one of these, so work through them in order:

1. Check the power switch on the back of the power supply is set to I, not O.
2. Plug your monitor cable into the graphics card — the sockets low down on the back of the case — not the ones on the motherboard higher up. This is by far the most common one.
3. Try a different cable and a different monitor input, and make sure the monitor is set to that input.
4. Make sure the monitor has its own power and is switched on.

No. Your PC arrives with Windows installed, the BIOS updated and all drivers up to date, so you can switch it on, sign in and start using it.

The only thing worth doing in the first week is letting Windows finish any updates it wants to run, and installing the game launchers you use.

The only tool you need is a Phillips screwdriver.

1. Power down and unplug — shut the PC down and disconnect it from the mains.
2. Open the case — remove the side panel.
3. Find the PCIe slot — the long PCI Express x16 slot on the motherboard, usually the top one.
4. Insert the card — line it up with the slot and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
5. Secure it — screw the bracket to the case.
6. Connect the power cables — attach the PCIe power connectors from the power supply if the card needs them.
7. Close up and reconnect — put the side panel back on and plug the PC back in.

We set the fan curves before your PC ships, so it should already be quiet when you're browsing and only audible under real load.

To keep it that way: leave a few inches of clear space around the case, keep the front and top vents away from carpet and curtains, and give the dust filters a rinse every few months.

If it suddenly gets louder than it used to be, that's usually dust — tell us and we'll talk you through it.
